Dariana completed her 9th round of chemo on Friday The chemo was done as outpatient. A nurse came to the house on Thursday to access her port and then I hooked her up to I.V. Fluids overnight and we were able to get the chemo done and out of clinic by 2:45 and then when we got home I had to hook her up to fluids again for overnight. It was so nice not to have to stay in the hospital. I had to de-access her port, it was a little scary at first because I didn't want to hurt her but its wasn't so bad. The chemo she normally would get on this chemo cycle she didn't get this time because you can only get a certain amount and she is at her limit. She has one more cycle with that chemo which she will get on her last two day cycle. Any how, she is feeling pretty, a little nausea but you wouldn't think she just had chemo 2 days ago. 5 more cycles to go all together! Yay! I would like to thank Moi, Jan, Eddie and everyone who came out to Fast Eddies in Fishkill to show their support for Dariana and Childhood Cancer. It was amazing the amount of people who came out! We cannot express how grateful we are to all of you! Well we are off until Friday then we have to go back to clinic for bloods but the next chemo cycle isn't scheduled until June 16th. So we will definitely be enjoying our time off!!Faith, Hope, and Encouragement!
