We had clinic today .... Counts were the lowest they have been since we started our journey. Typically her counts drop anywhere from 7 - 10 days after the first day of her previous treatment but we have been lucky that her counts were not so low on our first a check up after her chemo. Her white count was 38.0 last Monday and today it was 1.3. She had a transfusion last Tuesday bc her red cells were at 8.2 and today her red cells were at 8.7 which is close to her needing another transfusion... Not terrible it could be a lot worse but I was surprised that her counts were so low with having the transfusion and her white count being so high last Monday. But that is what is supposed to happen and what matters is that she feels good! We have off tomorrow and then the rest of the week is test after test and Friday is surgery and I'm sure somewhere in there she is going to need a transfusion of red blood and possibly platelets. Whatever needs to be done has to be done so she can stay on schedule for chemo. And we start radiation on Monday. So we will et the results on Friday from all the scans and then sometime next week for the bone marrow biopsy. I will keep you all up to date with any information I get. PLEASE pray for good results and that surgery goes smoothly and she gets to go home and is able to attend her fundraiser on Saturday. I know it is a lot but we need good news from these tests! Love you all! Faith, Hope, and Encouragement with a whole bing of LOVE♥ Good Night to you all!
