I was hoping to get this out earlier but my day was a little hectic. This is going to be a long one....
I would like to say thank you to so many amazing people. First to Chris from Buon Amici Restaurant in White Plains and his staff who donated their time and the food to have a very successful fundraiser on Saturday. Thank you to all that came out to show Dariana their support. The food was great and it was great to see everyone.... friends, family and people that never met Dariana. Thank you to my father for putting that all together for her.
A very special thanks to Jennifer Schreiber Mattia for running the 10k for Endure to Cure in honor of Dariana Jimison. We are so grateful and it proves you can do anything you put your mind to. You are very inspirational! Thank you to the McDonalds on Route 55 that worked with Paul and Rich from Love Holds Life to put together another great night to help support Dariana in her fight. Thanks to Chris Moreno and 96.1! Thank you to Katelyn and Gina and her friends who stood out in the cold and rain to sell t-shirts and raffle tickets. Thank you to all who came out to show their support, offer encouraging words and offering their help in any possible way. Thank you to Jennifer at Cartiers Salon who donated a gift certificate to be raffled off and has showed her support to us on many occasions. Thank you to Eric and Kristen Niclaus who came in and gave us a parking pass for the hospital, Thank you to Charlene who has been behind the scenes reaching out to all sorts of people to help raise awareness and gain support for us since day 1.Thank you to Corinne and Brian who have taken my son on numerous occasions while we were in the hospital and to Diane and Brielle who has taken Ben and all who have offered to take him. Thank you to all who have sent out donations, cards and gifts. Thank you to our family who is always there to listen, help, and encourage. Thank you to my sister Susie who got Dr. Lee to take Dariana as a patient on the drop of a dime. Thank you to the doctors and nurses at Columbia who have and are taking such great care of my daughter. Thanks to "Aunt" Christine at Columbia who comes in whenever we are there to do whatever she can for us and worked so hard with Naomi to have Dariana meet Taylor Swift. Thank you to each one of you who checks in each day to see Dariana's progress and show her your support and how much you care, some are people whom we have never met! Thank you for praying each and every day to help Dariana get through this. You have all been a part of Dariana's progress. You have helped us get through this unfair journey. On January 19th our lives have were changed and probably will never be the same but I have learned a lot from this and have met a lot of amazing and kind people and for this I am very thankful. If I did not mention someone personally please know we are extremely thankful for every single person who has been here for us. We still have a ways to go but with all of you backing us up and praying for us we know it can only get better from here Faith, Hope, and Encouragement!
